This weekend it’s all about the kids at State Dock. The youngsters better be well rested, because Saturday (August 6th) is going to be a BIG day! We’ve got a fun-filled day of contests, adventures, prizes and entertainment for everyone. Below is the full schedule. All times are central time.
Fishing Derby
11 am – 1 pm
Bring your poles to the restaurant area. If you need a fishing pole, call us ahead of time, and we will have some spares you can borrow. There will be prizes for largest fish, the most number of fish caught, smallest fish and the most unusual fish. We will provide the bait. Fishing licenses are not required for kids under the age of 16.
Minute to Win It Games
1 pm – 3 pm
You’ve seen the TV show and now we’re bringing it to State Dock. We have several challenges with prizes for the winners!
Kayak Races by the Fuel Piers (weather permitting)
3 pm
For the older kids we’ll have kayak races by the fuel piers in front of the ship store. Let’s see who can show their stuff and swing those paddles to be the State Dock champ! Prizes for the winners!
Saturday Night Movie
7 pm
Popcorn and a movie at the State Dock Grill! Come on down in your PJ’s if you want and enjoy a fun movie that DJ has selected for the kids. We’ll have lots of popcorn to munch on! 
We’ve also got a BOUNCY CASTLE for the kids this weekend!
The castle will be setup on the dock Friday afternoon for the kids to enjoy this weekend. Parents please note that all children MUST be supervised by an adult while in the bouncy castle. Please only stocking or bare feet while bouncing.
